General
I support many different human organisations. I really want to see the world change into something better than it is right now. Amnesty International is the one I have supported for the longest time.
Food (Especially Italian *YUMMY*)
Animals: I am very dedicated to animals and their well-being. I especially love dogs and cats, both domestic and tigers, lions and so on.
Books : I do not read as much anymore as I used to.
Computer : Could not do without my little baby here *LOL* I use it both when I write papers for school but also many other things.
Film : The Godfather trilogy, Scarface, Wall Street, The Omen, The Shining are just some of my favourites.
A big wish of mine : Worldpeace. I know I can not save the whole world and it is not my intention - but why not leave something good behind instead of fighting all the time ?
Another big wish of mine is to travel. I have been to Bulgaria and London but really I would like to see the whole world piece by piece. There are so many things you can learn so many different kinds of cultures and living.
Music
Ayreon - What can I say ? This guy has made a big impression on me and will always and forever remain a big part of my life and heart. I feel truely rich just knowing him and his music :-)And I am going to hug him again some day ;-)
My two favourite guitarists :Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. You guys have a very special place in my heart :-) Yngwie Malmsteen,Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Petrucci are some of them :-)
My absolute favourite group : Dream Theater. I love each and every CD those guys have made. James LaBrie has the most amazing voice!!
Mercenary : Wow those guys have totally swept off my feet. I..m so happy we have a band like that in Denmark. They..re absolutely worldclass!! :-)
Movies
The Godfather Trilogy (Masterpiece!!), Scarface, Sea of Love, Meet Joe Black, Legends of the Fall, American Beauty,Amadeus, The Unsaid, The Big Blue, Dogma, Silence of the Lambs, Gladiator, Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons, Indecent Proposal, Scent of a woman (Al Pacino is GREAT in that movie!!), Frankie and Johnny.Different comedies .... I can not really think of any titles right now ;-)
I like horrormovies as well - especially The Shining and The Omen
And I..m crazy about English humor. Especially Monty Python :-)
I also love computer-animated movies very much. My absolute favourite are the ones from Pixar but I also like Ice Age and Shrek :-)

My dad - who lived most of his life with cancer on and off. He was so brave and I never heard him complain once even though it would have been understandable. He died when he was 61, way too soon. I miss him and love him very much.
All the people out there who put their own lives at risk every day in order to save others.
All the people who are dedicated to save animals - they need you now more than ever.
All the people who are dedicated to world peace even though we live in a world which doesn..t seem to appreciate it. There is room and space for each and everyone of us no matter what colour and religion we have.

About me:
I am a 36 year old girl who lives in part of Copenhagen called Amager (close to the Copenhagen Airport so I can see planes coming and going - dreaming about me being on one of them going somewhere in the world - maybe Holland ;.)) Right now I have finished one education and I am in between things - do not know which way they are going - at least the next year - and it is kind of exciting since I am a person who really does not like to limit myself to just one thing. But now I have decided to apply for Netherland Language and Culture at CU next year and use it to work and use it to build bridges between people one way or the other(Sounds great, huh ?) Other than that I keep my options open. I am very interested in travelling even though I have not been able to do it so much. But I love to discover new ways of life.
I live alone in Amager but I have a boyfriend whom I have been with for nearly 8 years now.

Friends - wow that is really a chapter of its own, at least in my life. Friends are a big deal for me, I do not have many because I am very selective in that area. And what do I look for in people ? I like most people really, but when it comes to friends they have to be honest, sincere, trustworthy, caring and have a good sense of humour (Preferably the grim kind :-D). And I do not mind if they are a little crazy like me - on the contrary :-D. I do not care what kind of religion (if any) they have, where in the world they come from, what they do etc. It has very little to do with what is on the outside and everything to do with what is on the inside. My best friends are people I do not see that often, months sometimes passes by without any contact but when we speak again we are back to our internal jargon. I know they are there for me and they know I am there for them whereever we are (Long live Skype ;-)). There is a strong bond between us - that is a treasure like nothing else :-) I can certainly use more friends - it just takes time.

Hi Dorthe. Good to have you as a friend. If I can help you with the language let me know. We will start sending messages in Dutch in a little while then. I think I know how you feel. I have the same with Finland. Started a Finnish course 1,5 year ago. Really diffelcult, but so much fun. I have a weak spot for Denmark as well. The father of my daughter is Danisch and although we are not together anymore, the country still has a special place in my heart. My daughter does speak Danisch, but I don't.... Greetings Ingrid
