About me:

People usually call me Little Janelle, occasionally Shmee.
I'm 20 & I love it.
I'm a college junior majoring in journalism, aiming for music journalism so I can combine my two loves: music & writing. I'm getting a head start on this by at least offering to write reviews of anything music-related basically for anyone who wants them, currently Pop Damage.
I'm up for just about anything.
I'm a vegetarian.
I smoke occasionally.
I really like to drink.
I'm generally optimistic & happy, although I can hit some really low emotional points. Yet I hate extreme negativity.
Even when I have a bad time, I have a good time.
I like to tell stories. Mostly ridiculous, long, but true ones.
I can be very insecure sometimes.
I seriously think I have OCD.
I can be extremely shy.
I can be very vulgar & inappropriate & extremely spontaneous. I can make innuendo & perverted comments that put some men to shame.
I love to read. I'll read basically anything. I often fall in love with fictional characters.
I love musicals. I love seeing things on stage. I love being on stage too, but I don't do it often.
One of the most important things in my life is music, & sometimes I think that no one else I know understands it. I have very eclectic taste in music but I'm a rocker at heart. I want to start a band real bad.
I also feel like no one else understands how important writing is to me. Both of these things have led me to conclude I need more people in my life that are writers/musicians/otherwise creative-minded.
I like to dance, which isn't to say I do it well. I did take ballet for seven years, then quit because I got bored. But I still have dancer blood in my veins.
I'm very sarcastic, & people don't always pick up on it.
When I love or am really passionate or excited about something, I will not stop talking about it. I realize this, & become very self-conscious of it & as a result think I'm annoying people with it, whether or not they express any annoyance, & try really hard to not bring the subject up. This just makes me want to talk about it even more, thus, I fail.
I hate hypocrites, liars, homophobia, racism, & intolerance, among other things.
Some of the greatest things that have ever happened to me were going to Disney World, meeting Bill Clinton, meeting Anthony Rapp, & seeing Rent with Anthony Rapp & Adam Pascal.
