About SHOD GERMANY

Stoner Hands of Doom is one of the premier annual gatherings for underground heavy/stoner/doom music in North America. SHoD has been held annually since 1999 in various small venues throughout the USA. Many acts are unsigned/unreleased and many travel thousands of miles to gather in the name of rock. The concept was dreamed up by promoters Rob and Cheryl Levey, who have planned, booked and organized it since its inception. Under their guidance, the festival affectionately known as SHoD has grown over eight years from a one-day event to a weekend-long gathering, featuring over three dozen bands. Now the guys from Caligula666 brought the festival over to Germany and we are really happy to announce the STONER HANDS OF DOOM GERMANY which will take part on the 19th and 20th of September 2008.

Das Stoner Hands Of Doom ist eines der angesagtesten Festivals für Underground Heavy-, Stoner- und Doom-Rock in Nord Amerika. Seit dem ersten SHOD 1999 findet das Festival nun jedes Jahr in einem anderen Club irgendwo in Amerika statt. Viele unbekannte Künstler fuhren schon tausende von Meilen um auf dem SHOD ihre Musik zum besten zu geben. Das Stoner Hands Of Doom wurde von Rob und Cheryl Levey ins Leben gerufen und seit dem buchen und oranisieren sie was das Zeug hält. Das SHOD ist nun über acht Jahre alt und hat sich über die Jahre zu einem DER Underground-Festivals gemausert, mit über 36 Bands an einem Wochenende. Jetzt haben Caligula666 das Festival über den großen Teich geholt und präsentieren euch am 19ten und 20sten September 2008 das erste STONER HANDS OF DOOM GERMANY.

Wir (maybe a wretch) treten auf, ohne Playback, ohne BackroundsängerInnen, ohne Musiker hinter der Bühne, ohne Netz und doppelten Boden also eben richtig ANALOG! Wann? 20Uhr am 19.6.09 (um 22.30uhr müssen wir fertig sein...sonst gibts ärger, also pünktlich sein!!!!!) Wo? Mokum in der Danzigerstrasse 56 Warum? Darum!!!! und weils nur 2.50€ kostet und ihr unser Roh-Mix-Demo mit nem Roh-Mix-Booklet für den Roh-Mix-Preis von 1.50€ erwerben könnt und der Hammer an der Sache --> 1€ Gutschein für die hoffentlich bald erhältliche EP!!!!!
