Formed in early 2008, Short in the Sleeve are carving a niche in the Memphis scene with their unique brand of catchy, literate folk-pop. The four-piece is comprised of singer/guitarist Jason Middlekauff, lead guitarist/keyboardist Chris Mirante, bassist Kyle Reed, and drummer Jeremy Anderson. Having played local venues for over a year, the band hit the studio in late February to record their debut EP, Field Day. The band is taking some time off from performing in June as Jason and his wife await their first child. The band will resume live shows in July.
We are proud to announce that after MUCH hard work and effort, The Sheriffs of Nottingham will be releasing our debut CD, "Hard Places: The EP" on Saturday, November 14th.
