About me: Kyo Daiko was founded in 2004. Kyo Daiko is a community-
based group, which is the result of a collaboration between Settlement Music School and Shofuso Japanese House and Garden. The group has performed at the University of Pennsylvania's Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology's Japan Day Celebration, Philadelphia Japanese Association New Year's Party, The World Cafe Live (Phila., Pa.), and
has appeared on ESPN's Monday Night Football. The group is led by instructor Kristopher Rudzinski, who is a member of the Settlement Music School percussion faculty. Mr. Rudzinski has also performed with the group Taikoza, as well as studying with Taikoza's founder, Mr. Marco Lienhard. Kyo Daiko offers classes
on Friday evenings at Settlement Music School's
West Philadelphia Branch. For, more information regarding classes, contact Settlement Music School at the following number: 215-320-2640
