Shootin' Lucy, based out of Oakland, California started writing and playing together in late 2005. Word travels fast, especially when you have a relentless schedule like they do. In 2008 Shootin Lucy released their own 4 song 7-inch On the Edge Of Collapse, followed by a west coast tour. Shootin Lucy continued to carve out their spot among the bands by playing shows with such bands as U.S. Bombs, D.I., Battalion Of Saints, Angry Samoans and many others, but the winds of change were among them....

In 2010 lead singer Sammy Diosdado is now the permanent vocalist (The Oozzies, The Sick, DeathAngel). Drummer Mark Mortensen (Screw 32, Samiam-Me First & The Gimme Gimme's) joined on as icing on the cake..joining up with Dave Holmes, Sebastian Stuart and Michael Scanland. Shootin' Lucy is a force that is taking the Bay Area by word of mouth and literally re-invinting the art of a pure punk rock explosion...noisy..sexy..tight..loose..reckless..vocal and catchy as hell!! A bittersweet force!! Shootin Lucy lives and breathes attitude and complete recklessness both on and off the stage. Their sound is both familiar and completely unique. Now with a true all-star cast of characters, a solid work ethic, and personality, this band will affect you instantly.
