About Shoot Your Mouth Off - Each Tuesday @ The Hideout
Described as "The Best Free Show In Omaha" by The Reader weekly. This is far from your average "open mic." The most talented spoken word artists and some of the best comedians, musicians, and performers have chosen to make "Shoot Your Mouth Off" their forum and home. The show starts at 9:30pm every Tuesday and calls The Hideout (formerly Shea Riley's) on 322 S 72nd St. it's base of operations. On this site you will be able will be able to sign up to perform to ensure you get to perform and get a good time slot (we fill up quick). Here, you will also be able to get up to date information about the special guests and features coming to the show (such as bios, performance videos, and show dates). This site belongs not only to us, but to the "Shoot Your Mouth Off" performers and audience, and also to everyone interested in creative spoken word, comedy, and music. Please use the comments section to leave messages the hosts, sound guy, and street team but also to share Poetry with each other, to comment on each others performances, and to give feedback on how we can make our show and this site better. And remember "The More You Drink, The Better We Sound!"
