At the moment I pretty much live for gaming news, I eat it up with blogs, RSS feeds and numerous gaming sites on a daily basis. Anyway, I'm lucky enough to tackle the coolest and most interesting gaming topics on a daily basis. Good times.
Here's a short documentary video of a stunt we pulled back when I was with AOTS. Enjoy:

My Parents
I'm currently working for a G4 television show called X-Play! I've been tasked with handling the videogame news segment Gaming Update, five days a week. I strive to get the most recent and topical news on the show everyday, but sometimes its tough to match the speed of the internet while producing TV segments. The transition from AOTS to X-Play has been pretty smooth. I've only been called a traitor by about twelve different people so far.
Anyway, both shows are obviously great. I do miss Attack from time to time, but the AOTS staff is about fifteen feet from my desk anyway and getting to work on X-Play is one of the best opportunities I've ever had. I'm loving every minute of it.
Here's a look at a recent Gaming Update segment. Be sure to visit www.g4tv.com/xplay for the latest in video game news!
As much as I enjoy keeping up with the latest in video games, its not the only thing I do or care about. I also follow many pro sports and try to participate in as many sports year-round as I can. In the summer I'm mostly involved with baseball and softball and in the winter I hit the mountains for some snowboarding. Mammoth is calling for me, can't wait to get back up there.
Jade Raymond was one of the coolest guests I’ve ever had a chance to produce. She’s very intelligent, energetic, and always smiling. I was lucky enough to be able to chat for a few minutes before this segment went live to air. We talked about Rock Band vs. Guitar Hero, game design, and pre-orders (I let her know that I switched my pre-order from Crysis to Assassin's Creed, good move no?). I also had a chance to talk with the level designer of Prince of Persia:SoT and Assassin’s Creed, which was pretty damn cool. The Ubisoft Montreal team worked really hard on Assassin's Creed and I think it shows in the game's storyline, graphics and gameplay. Can't wait to see what types of projects Jade and the folks at Ubisoft kick out in the near future. Hint: "Tom Clancy's Mega Combine Every Franchise We Have Into One Game"
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet Vin Scully the longtime and legendary announcer for the Los Angeles Dodgers. I think I'd also enjoy getting a chance to talk to the legendary screenwriter William Goldman about his projects and writing style.
Please help Walter Koenig, "Chekov from Star Trek TOS", Get His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Walter has been nominated for his star and waltersstar.com has raised the money to manufacture and install the star (Thanks!). All Walter needs now is the votes of the Walk of Fame Committee. Write to the Walk of Fame Committee a polite letter in your own words, why you think Walter should have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. These NEED to be letters from each individual fan in the fan's own words. Not copies, Not form letters, Not chain letters.
