| General | Writing and performing stand-up comedy, comedy screenplays, song-writing, poetry, amateur gynecology. I also enjoy working with good, open-minded stand-up comedians. We plan to produce comedy CDs in the near future and eventually release a Short Bus Comics live DVD, etc. | | Music | Like my taste in movies, I like independent music. I stopped listening to the radio in Junior High. Needless to say, I don't care for most current popular music but some of it's good. There is always great music being made somewhere so I like to keep an open mind. | | Movies | My favorite movies are: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Better Off Dead, Bubba Hotep, Man on the Moon, and documentaries like When Stand Up Stood Out. | | Television | I like any comedy that is genuine and actually works. | | Books | I highly recommend STAND UP COMEDY by Judy Carter and THE COMIC TOOLBOX by John Vorhaus. These are great places to start if you want to do stand up. | | Heroes | Any comedian who is original and not just another knock-off of Carlin, Dangerfield, or Pryor. |

About me:
Short Bus Comics is a bold new comedy showcase that's been gaining recognition for being one of the most original shows in Vegas. Since launching in September, 2008 performers like The Balloon Master, Mona Lott, Cathe B. Jones, The Interloper, Nipplerella, Lola Taubert, Bizzaro, and many others have proven that you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to see a great show in Vegas. With a more underground approach that's defiantly unconcerned with all that is 'politically correct', we've been able to carve our own niche in a city hailed for being ruthlessly competitive as the Entertainment Capital of the World. You've seen many of us on America's Got Talent, The Tonight Show, The Gong Show, Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, and more. We pride ourselves on being the flipside to safer mainstream comedy entertainment and helping to introduce audiences to the most original up and coming comedic acts we can find. From stand up comics to magicians to ventriloquists and more, our only goal is to make you laugh with a show that you can't see elsewhere. When you're in Vegas, be sure to check us out - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at the Greek Isles Casino at 10 PM. Admission is currently only $19.95 (plus handling & LET tax.)
