           This musical evolution leads Ibizas producers and djs to adapt their style to the music of the 21st century.

           The musical moment that the island is living makes the birth of local record labels necessary. Keen and creative young people with a lot of good ideas to show are needed.

           This is the case of S..hort Records. The new proposal of Ernesto Altés and Guillermo Morro. A company that feeds off these influences. They started off young fooling around with a keyboard, locked up at home many weekends for years, learning. Until they realize theyre good, that they connect and its getting serious.

           S..hort Records starts up in Ibiza as a recording studio in 2000. In these years producers, singers and musicians pass through creating a good work atmosphere. From this work come the first achievements leading to sign ups with national labels such as Fresh, House Dárret, Dpress Industries or Level where they produce from tech-house sounds to references of chill out that appear in national compilations. The complicated moment the music industry is living and their eagerness to continue producing means that they need independence, which leads to the creation of the S..hort Records record label. S..hort Records intends to participate in the growth of these tendencies in the musical world smoothly, with good songs of all styles and applying the marked influences that they have. In this way they wonder through Tech-House, Minimal House or Electro, counting with the collaboration of national and international artists.
