About me:
My name is Shorty and I live in Peoria IL. I put on an annual Bluegrass Festival the 1st weekend of March. I enjoy bluegrass music and the people I have met through Bluegrass. We have people come from many states to spend the weekend filled with music, friends, fun and laughter. The dates for this year are March 5,6,7,& 8 We have a Branson show Thursday March 5th from 7PM to 9PM, and will be entertained by Goldwing Express from Branson Mo. What a dynamic group they are and they play Branson over 210 days of the year! Then we kick off the Bluegrass Festival Friday night 7PM, shows Sat. 1PM & 7PM then end the weekend with our 9:30AM Sunday Gospel show. Our groups this year are Arlington from MO, Bull Harman and Bull's Eye from MO, Faris Family from KS, Martin Family from MO, Henhouse Prowlers from Chicago, River Ramblers from Springfield IL. This will be a great festival with award winning bands and hope to see alot of new faces and meet new friends! This year will be held at Stoney Creek Inn in East Peoria, IL setting along the East banks of the Illinois River. This lodge type atmosphere will be the perfect setting for jammin and pickin and watching the many shows we will provide.

We have great bands and a lodge type setting for the festival this year! .. What a show this will be!! Limited rooms and seating so get your rooms and tickets early! Go to stoneycreekinn.com and check out the rooms and the atmosphere this will be to gather for some pickin and jammin! Be sure to mention Bluegrass to get the special Bluegrass Rate at the Inn. Hope to see alot of you there! We will have many workshops and it is a real treat to have Bull Harmon and many others doing these great workshops Sat. morning.
