The Beatles, Radiohead, Oasis, Johnny Cash, The Avett Brothers,Seven Nations, Bonnie Raitt, Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant, Alana Davis, Beth Orton... Folk music (americana, celtic, etc.)- as well as classic, contemporary and alternative rock join jazz and blues among her many influences.
As time passes and the world continues to unfold, only one thing has any consistency in Shoshana’s life: Music. Music is the origin, music is the adventure, music is the source of comfort and the call of the unknown. For all the talk, talk, talk in the world, music is what manages to transcend, somehow, all the other things we tend to busy ourselves with.
Shoshana is an interesting mix of the people she has known and the places she’s been, whether only in passing or for some time called ‘home.’ In fact the only thing that can be said for certain is that music is the home she carries with her, gradually building a collection of influences. Traces of western and celtic folk, as well as classic and alternative rock, complement the jazz, blues, and americana that is also to be found in her unique and striking original compositions, as well as finding representation in her eclectic collection of cover material.
Life is full of demands, but at the end of the day only one thing really matters. For Shoshana, this is music; in her experience she has come to know something that she wishes to share, because of how much difference it can make: Music saves.

or galleries) and promoters who are active within their own area to
join the Tune Up industry database.
Tune Up, the Scottish Arts Council scheme, currently funds artists and
musicians to tour to many outlying areas. We’d like to increase this
and involve as many new promoters and venues as possible. If you are a
venue or a promoter who is interested in booking a Tune Up show for our
2009/2010 season, add your details to the industry mailing list and
you’ll be contacted shortly.
To be included on the database for 2009/2010 season you need to
join the mailing list with immediate effect.
PLEASE REPOST TO YOUR FRIENDS WHO MAY BENEFIT FROM JOINING THE LIST.
