Paul McGowen has been street performing at various markets in Seattle and Portland since 2002. He was also a member of The Tallboys from 2002-2006. Pete Howard is a popular fiddler for dances in the Midwest. In the early 90’s, Pete played fiddle, banjo, and bowed bass with The Skirtlifters. Pete judged and performed for the 2006 Arkansas State Fiddle Championship, at the Ozark Folk Center and he regularly teaches fiddle workshops there.
Seth Shumate has been performing his incredibly tasteful harmonica style for the past 5 years. He has a unique gift for playing old tunes authentically, often sounding like a second fiddle and adding a wonderful sound to the band.

It certainly was a great party. I loved seeing young and old laughing a dancing with one another. I am signing up for the emails now, I for sure dont want to miss the next one!! Thanks again for coming out and showing us a good time last night!
Glad you liked the CD (one or two of them, at least) ... I'm really digging the Goodbye My Honey you've got on your page! I grew up with the Volo Bogtrotters in my ears (and eyes and nose, actually - scarred me for life) and it reminds me a bunch of that sound. You definitely play the kind of old-time I love.
Also, major Ozarks kudus for the cello. Damned good instrument choice.
Awww! Thank you so much Paul. I actually got a mySpace awhile back and found you and Skye's card for the band and was like, "Damn, I have to search for them. I haven't seen them in years" and lo and behold y'all are still around. I miss running into you guys at the AV! Hope to see you guys around!
Hi, I have returned here to listen several times and enjoy the percussive dancing and square dance footage. This might just help me sustain until our square dance season resumes in October! Peace!
I'm finally going to get off my ass and get out to hear you this month, by gum! Prob'ly at Smiling Jacks. You are the Twisted Sister cover band, right? Or am I confusing you with someone else?
ya'll can call us satan's serenaders! one of the original ideas was Judge Holden's Midnight Serenaders, referencing the Cormac McCarthy super-bad guy in Blood Meridian. But i thought that might be a bit too literary. might give the impression that we can read...
