About me: We (Mike and Lori Salley) founded Show Mercy International in 2004 after several trips to Africa. We were ruined forever. The look of a starving child will either paralyze you or cause you to take action. We are doing something about it. Will you join us?
We have been married for 14 years after meeting while attending Louisiana State University. We have a passion to assist the poor and hurting, specifically focusing on the orphaned and abandoned children in third world countries such as Uganda. We also have a passion to encourage people right here in the United States to pursue the dreams that God has placed in their hearts and to know that with God everything is possible.
Go on a trip with us to Uganda. You won't regret it! To find out more go to www.showmercy.org.
HAHA!!! when I feel like it, tehe!!! that is exactly how I got into the whole myspace thing. PEER PRESSURE! one of these days I'm sure I will cross over to the dark side! :D
Hey guys! Brazil was an amazing experience, to say the least. I'm back to Oregon now and happy to be home. I hope you guys have an amazing time in India! I would love to touch base and hear what you guys are up to. Amazing things, I am sure.

Hey! I actually just realized where you guys are at the other day when I drove by. I'm working for Central Willamette now and I found out that Lon knows you guys and that the company donates shirts. I thought that was a crazy coincidence. How are you doing?
I think I should be saying that about you! Its been a really rough season. My heart aches for africa, but its almost aches too much to remember because I know that I can't go back for a while. I start school in a week and I am excited for that. God has been doing massive amounts of healing and I have been doing sozoz, but I am dissatisfied with where I am at. I can't wait to be freer and ready to be sent out. Most things seem too big because they are and that is why I need God. I spent the summer working 15 hour days six days a week when all holy spirit was telling me to do was rest. I will write you soon. Miss and love you all! I hope the girls are well.
I wish soon! I am going to Bethel school of ministry this year. I would love to go back, but I don't know when I can. I totally had re-entry issues again last fall. It was hard, but I was so broken that I couldn't go in june. Whats going on over there? How are the babies?
Thankyou guys for honoring our baby girl's extraordinary faith and love for her King by bringing her legacy to Africa. We cant' wait to have you guys over again:). Always eternally grateful for who you guys are and all you do for God's kingdom.
Hey, How are things going? I never got back to you about that meeting we talked about via email, sorry bout that I got really busy with school and such. I'll have to try for something next summer. Keep in touch.
Well hello! I'm glad you guys found me on here. =) Just wanted to say thank you so much for all you do- what you do for the people in Uganda and all you do for the teams that go w/ you. My experiences w/ you guys in Uganda have truly changed my life.
I hope that the second half of your trip went well!
