About me: I'm a tiny boutique in Echo Park that loves keeping strange hours...
I opened on October 13th, 2000...to house friends artwork and local
designers clothes. Every first SAturday the block has a street party
presenting these new artists and designers. We like to carry designers whose work tells a story--and show art and objects that reflect a feminine point of view.
When possible please try to include a note when trying to add us as a friend--so we know you are a real person.
Who I'd like to meet: people who like to trick out there dull wardrobes...like wearing a cape, corsage, pompom, or a giant sequin beret. (ok maybe not that last one)
Any undiscovered artists, jewelry makers or crafty designers that make things that tell an interesting tale. If you can Macrame-that's a plus. ALways looking to meet folk artists/taxidermists, weavers, knitters, flappers, performers, and costume makers. Love Edie/Grey Gardens, the Marchesa Luisa Cassati, Dare Wright, Auntie Mame, the Cockettes, girls with gaps in their teeth, the gang of Italian looking beauties in Holy Mountain.
