The Showroom is one of the largest independent cinemas in the UK, screening a rich mix of independent, cult and world cinema. Showroom also hosts several major festivals including Sheffield Doc/fest, Showcomotion and Lovebytes.
In 2002 Showroom was voted the favourite independent cinema of Guardian readers, and in 2007 it was named Best Cultural Venue in Sheffield's Exposed Magazine Awards.
Who I'd like to meet: Film lovers, filmmakers, creative organisations, creative individuals, movie myspaces, cinemas, musicians, writers and dreamers.
The Bon Bon Club are Sushi Quatro (bass, vox), Thirsty Moore (drums,vox) and Chapatti Smith (perc, vox), although Sushi and Thirsty are better known under different names for their day job as the rhythm section of Sheffield glam-popsters The Long Blondes.
