Battered spent her youth dreaming of growing up to be a secretary with a nice job and a nice husband, two kids, a dog, a mini-van, a condo, and pie making skills. Instead she ended up in buttfuck Ontario selling vaccuums door to door to Trailer Park Miners with shot guns and mail-order brides. Eventually reached her breaking point and had an epiphany which led to the forming of the band SHRIMP

She mumbled something about a "biohazard" and wandered into the night to make friends with beavers. Has won awards for the sound of the beaver. Deeply Fried has been known to pull the pants off other bands mid-show. She's also known as the very rare Pantser Shrimp. Beware!!!!!

RAW SHRIMP - vocals -
Raw shrimp spent many years selling igloos in Mexico but after an igloo deal gone wrong with the Mexican mafia she decided to skip town, and has been on the run ever since. She arrived in Winnipeg and after many beers at a bar found a bunch of chicks who thought they could be a band. Now her screaming vocals can be heard in the Band SHRIMP.

The Punk Rock Princesses, SHRIMP, will be debuting their first CD, PEEL N EAT.
Shit yeah! After spending the past year letting the fame go to our heads from getting too big too fast, going on benders and smoking crack, we got back on the musical train to rock hard like four chicks with brand new vibrators.
That's right were back better than ever with a hot new drummer CAGE IN SHRIMP! She can slam those skins harder than your creepy Uncle Charlie on a Sunday afternoon soused on rye and cokes.
SHRIMP was embraced and fondled by some of Winnipegs finest Punk bands, in exchange for being mentored in the art of crowd cussing, axe-wieldin, and beer swillin.
CBC caught wind of them and did a five minute national television piece, CBC radio followed suit, and the Free Press presented SHRIMPs story to Winnipeg in a three page spread in The TAB. The icing on the cake was earlier this year when Obie award winning Actor, Playwright, Filmmaker, Daniel McIvor picked up two SHRIMP songs, covered them and took them on tour in his new play, A Beautiful View.
Now three years, two drummers, and one keyboard player, later these mild-mannered prairie gals are proudly unleashing their three chord, screaming, punk music to the world on their very first CD.
