MUSIC. Is there anything else on this planet that can do so much? Generally into indie-pop kinda stuff, but also punk, 'emo', alternative, and folk.
Also, girls, which probably needs little explanation.
AFL is the greatest game on the planet, I play, and love it.
Comedy in any way, shape or form. Comedy is one of the greatest things on the planet. Go Ricky Gervais. Go Demetri Martin.
Thinking material. Books, songs, movies, optical illusions, origami... whatever the hell will make my mind meander, my brain bend and my soul shake. That, kids, is alliteration.

Hey Josh, Thanks for coming on board with .m.oneentoaus. Moneen are THE band to watch this year. They are nominated for a Juno award, and they are in the studio as we speak. Go to www.moneen.com and take a look and listen. After their time here for Soundwave, we are just starting on the push to make them as well known in Australia as some of their better known Canadian friends. Remember, bands will come where their loyal fans are. Updates will be coming on the progress of the album. Read our blog which has Kenny’s thoughts about Aus. Moneen are great guys and musos who give 110%. Tell ya friends!
sorry it's taken me forever to reply! i don't go on myspace as much as i used to.
um firstly let me just say wowwwwwww i am completely and totally jealous! that all sounds so amazing. and the death cab gig sounds much grander than the one i saw last year, but they ended with transatlanticism most likely in the same fashion they did when i saw it, ohhhhhhhh i get excited just thinking about it! and MAX BEMIS!!!!!!!1!1!!111ONEFUCKINGONE~~!~!!! oh god. was that at soundwave? i searched and couldn't find any other sets they were playing in melbourne? when max came back for the encore did he play all those songs acoustic? definitely sounds like an 'infinite' charlie-esque moment, ha.
i feel so gig deprived :( i haven't seen a good band play in so long. the last i can remember is Stealing O'Neal at bang but that hardly counts. is there anything good coming up that i should know about? hows uni going? i am so not even in the swing of things yet, its so much easier to be lazy!
Haha, I just had a mental picture of those girls. Some people are crazy. But that’s amazing! You’re so lucky you got to meet him. Seems totally different than on stage. The one time I met him, was after Panic in 2006. I think he accidently gave the password for their bus away to one of the girls and I remember Nate and Alex shooting him death glares. I went to a Cobra meet and greet a last year, and Gabe didn’t show up. (I think he was sick). And all the girls were so angry because he didn’t show up. I even had some girl ask me who ‘those boys are’. And it was Alex and Nate K
Seriously? That’s insane! When I was eight, I was listning to Nsync or something. Why aren’t they listening to the Jonas Brothers? Haha.
Ugh, same thing happened here. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of their new cd. So I’m hoping whenever I see them again, they’ll do a lot more older songs.
Haha, I should’ve known. Well, they are doing a world tour! I’m so excited. I heard that they got together after Travis’s crash to talk and then all the rumors started flying that they were going to get back together. But every year around the Warped season, there is always a rumor about them getting back together for Warped. But then at the Grammy’s J I was so happy, haha. I’d be so happy to see them as well, because I never did before either. My friends saw them back a couple years ago with No Doubt and I was incredibly jealous, haha.
Jeez, that’s so hot! Is it normally that hot over there, or is it a sudden flair up? I feel so bad for you guys, because that’s all we heard over here too for a couple weeks. I don’t’ know if it’s as big over there, but all the news stories over here featured a koala bear that was badly burnt by the fires and the fire fighter gave him his water bottle and the little thing just drank it himself! Everyone over here is amazed with that story, haha. I really want to donate money or something to help out.
Ah, now that you say that he could be. Why aren’t you writing for Lost again? I think you would/could do wonders over there, haha.
Haven’t heard that one, although I would be too. I still want to know what happened to Claire as well. And where Aaron went after Kate went to Jack. Which I was completely unhappy with, by the way. Hhaa.
Yeah, I heard it on Perez Hilton K He said that since the ratings were low they were thinking of not doing it, but then I heard it somewhere else where it might be a bigger possibility. What are they going to make it about? Their life on land? Another plane crash on the Island? Lost part 2? Hahah, if they did make it I don’t think I would watch it. It would ruin the series for me.
Lucky! All Time Low used to be small, and they kinda still are. But not where I live for some reason. Apparently we are their number one demanded area. Which I don’t understand because we aren’t that big like LA/Chicago/New York etc. So yeah, Believer’s Never Die will be awesome. Girls screaming over Alex, the same girls screaming over Trace, screaming after Gabe and Pete. Such joy my ears will be hearing, haha.
Ah, you're so lucky! That sounds amazing! I'm so jealous. That sounds like an amazing line up. Have you seen the Warped Line up for this year? Not very pleased so far, but who knows. A couple bands I wouldn't mind seeing. Not as good as last years, but.
What other shows have you been to? I'm so jealous! So far I've only got (hopefully) The Academy Is and This Providence accoustic, Jack's Mannequin and Fall Out Boy. Although I'm trying to win tickets to see Coldplay and also Lil Wayne :|
and I don't know if they where big over there or not, or if you even liked them but Blink 182! I'm so stoked for their tour. Rumor was they were going to be on Warped but that was axed and now it's Blink 182 and Weezer. Love it. Reminds me so much of 1990's and early 2000's.
Totally different topic, but how are the wildfires over there? I heard about them on the news a while back and it was so scary? Are you anywhere near them?
Haha, you and everyone else I know. Maybe it's because I'm so lazy I just haven't gotten one myself, haha.
I know! The next few episodes are going to be so good. And I kind of like Ceasar. So far he is kind of interesting.
Yeah, totally. I feel that they have really stepped it up. In season 3 (was that the season everyone hated? I can't remember) their ratings dropped dramatically over here. And they are still declining, haha. But I've seen a lot of people pick it up this season, so who knows.
Did you hear that after the last season, they are thinking about a spin off show? Eh, I'm not really fond of the idea. I love Lost but spin off shows usually suck. And, I don't know, when Lost is over I kind of want it to just be DONE, haah.
I was thinking it was Kate but then it didn't really look like her hair, haha. I'm such a girl. But yeah, it could be Cassidy as well.
Yeah, I'm seeing FOB with Hey Monday as well. I don't care for them at all to be honest. She sounds like every other girl band now a days. And they are coming with All Time Low (they are pretty good, but they have gotten huge over here so eh), Metro Station (shoot me now. I'm only going to watch their set because they provide the laughs) and Cobra Starship. Okay line up but nothing compared to their last Believer's Never Die tour. But I can't complain.
Ah, that sucks! But at least you had an alright time though. Any girls cat calling for Pete again? Hha.
Ah, that's a hella good picture! You are so lucky to be that close! I'm hoping to go see them for my sister's birthday and my birthday present. I'm so jealous you got to see him though!
Say Anything always does that to people, haha. At Warped last year, I didn't know very many of their songs but I watched them and they put on an amazing amazing show. I'm so happy you had a good time! Did they play their cover of Ol' Dirty-Baby I've Got The Money. Or something like that. Ah so good!
Did you see it?! I was more excited about the last part and previews more than the actual episode though.
But I've got a question. Okay, so in the preview when the showed Sawyer lifting the sack off the person's head-who was that? He looked surprised to see her but I couldn't tell who it was.
Ohhh! How exciting! Who else is on that tour? I'm planning on seeing FOB when they come here in April, btu I'm not too excited about the line up, haha.
LOOOOSSST! You could be right! And, most of your predictions come true, so you probably are, haha. So, what did you think of the season's opener? A couple of friends liked it and the others thought the time travel thing was too much :/ I loved the time travel to be honest. I kept on waiting for them to go back in time or go forward. Ahh, I can't wait for them to all go back on the island. And I have to say, Sawyer shirtless for the majority of the epside was an added bonus, haha.
