Art Alvarez creating amazing vocals, Ken "Rex Armstrong" Burleson with the screaming feedback on guitar, Smooth but edgy bass lines by Will Northrup and the whole thing held together by seriously tight drums and Russell "Mojo" behind them.
Shudder Down is a four piece rock band based out of Littleton, Ma. It has a unique sound that has been melded from many experiences and influences. If you take a listen you may hear any number of styles at any time.
Shudder Down came about with a few member changes, and even a significant name change. Russ and Ken (drummer, guitarist) met about 7 years ago when Russ came to fill in for a couple of practice sessions. Well they have been together ever since keeping the same ideas going even though they went through several lineup changes. They eventually met Will through their then current vocalist, who had literally bumped into Will. This became Room18. After a couple of years of Russ, Will and Ken staying together and keeping an idea alive, Art came on to the scene. Through an ad, a few emails, song swapping, and fun, Art stayed.
Hi there Shudder Down first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
