Originating from Croatia’s urban centre of Zagreb, Shuma represents the collaborative effort of the 2 experienced and unhinged musical minds of Davor Tosovic and Emir Cehaic. While their first attempts of attaining musical superstardom through conveying their world-class banjo and harmonica skills to boy-band style pop hits was met with open hostility and often mistaken medical quarantines, their subsequent efforts to compose inventive electro-influenced dancefloor rockers have received a far more positive global reaction. From their debut release, the Hipnocratia EP on legendary German label Hadshot Haheizar to their more recent works which have found a natural home on labels such as Beef Records, P.O.R.N, Home Made Electronica, Bondage, Two-B-Music, Estilo..etc... the name Shuma has come to be associated with a clearly individual style incorporating a background in minimal techno meshing effortlessly with modern electro-influenced sounds. They played so far numerous gigs in Croatia, Germany, Austria, Swiss, Czech rep., Hungary, Cyprus, Slovenia, Romania...in clubs like U60311 / Frankfurt, The Best / Zagreb, Aurora / Primosten, Cross club / Prague, Club Red / Nicosia, Sirup / Zagreb, Porat / Prosike, Extravaganza / Varazdin, Druckluft / Oberhausen, Masters /Split, Tesla / Rijeka, Social / Budampest..... with names like Umek, Terry Francis, Extrawelt, Minilogue, Pero Fullhouse, Petar Dundov, Tom Wax, Dj Dag..etc..etc..etc.....
