About me:

Simply put, microphones and audio electronics are our life. From our humble start as a radio parts wholesaler in Chicago in 1925, through our current status as a global leader in audio electronics and microphones, Shure products have been everywhere and seen it all.

Presidents and world leaders, broadcasters and entertainers have all made Shure their microphone of choice for speeches and performances. Every President since Franklin Delano Roosevelt has used a Shure microphone, and the Shure SM57 has been the exclusive podium mic for every President since Lyndon Johnson. The Pope and the Dalai Lama have delivered their religious messages via Shure microphones. Shure wireless mics are used regularly at the Oscars, Emmys, and Grammy awards.

    I remember when I bought my first SM58.

    I was young, and I used the house mic. It was quite gross.
    I have a practice mic, and a "show" mic-Both SM58!
