ShutterStone is a Modern Rock Band with Classic Rock influence.
Shutterstone formed in December of 2005 with its founding members, Derek Selke and John Scaffidi.
In early 2006 ShutterStone began recording their first EP with renowned producer Stephen McKnight (www.StephenMcKnight.com.)
Kevin Soffera who has done national tours with Seether and Breaking Benjamin layed down the six drum tracks on the EP in around eight hours and has helped ShutterStone in a tremendous way. The band is forever thankful to Kevin for all of his work.( Kevin's Myspace. )
ShutterStone's first self entitled EP was released in December of 2006
Since taking the project live, the band has played shows all along the East Coast including New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
Songs from the album have been heard on 94.1 WYSP's Loud and Local, Radio 104.5's local show, 91.7 WLFR, 93.3 WMMR's Local Shots and 102.7 The Ace's Local Commotion.
Currently ShutterStone is recording a full length follow up to their EP at Soundmine Recording Studio which will be released in early 2009. ( Soundmine's Website . )
