With their innovative music and high energy stage show Shutting Down the Factory has become a staple of the Southern CT music scene. Hailing from Old Saybrook Shutting Down the Factory was formed in the winter of 2007 by three brothers and two family friends. The mix of different influences that each member brought to the band is evident in their eclectic musical style and stage show. Shutting Down the Factory has developed a loyal fanbase and are mainstays at many Connecticut venues but they are always looking for new shows to get their music to the masses.
