Bio:

Hailing from Rockland County, NY, Shwizz is the brainchild of Frank Coda, Ryan "Shwizz" Liatsis, and Gershon Rosen. Formed in the summer of 2008, the band first joined forces when these three met at a jam session, where sparks flew to say the least. The first six tunes were formed during that one session and it was all too clear that something special had begun. Since then, Shwizz has grown into one of the most unique and exciting up and coming acts in the northeast, delivering blistering live performances and igniting heart pounding dance parties everywhere they touchdown; and their just getting started. This is one group that truly never plays the same show twice. Shwizz has had the fortune to perform alongside such acts as The Sam Kinninger Band, Consider The Source, Haakons Fault, FiKus, Sistine Criminals, Forman, Turkuaz, and Ducks in Raincoats to name a few. The band has also performed at such venus as Webster Hall, Sullivan Hall, The Bitter End, Station 171, OnTheGround Barn, Donnegals Saloon, and the 2010 Desiderata Music Festival.

The debut record "ShwizZ" is due to be released in June 2010. You can pick up your copy at the shows or online, along with live tracks from previous shows so keep checking back for dates and events near you! ..
