There might not be a next time's Interests
GeneralI like Music. A lot. That's the main one. I play bass in a band called Tom Allalone and the 78's which occupies a lot of my time energy and passion. I love writing and performing music, though i've been doing it so long i should probably be significantly better at it than i am now. Other interests are the usual. TV, Books, Films, Politics and the odd bit of sport (mainly rugby). I have a geek inside me who enjoys Politics, History and Science, though i've almost given up suppressing him.
MusicEverything from the Beach Boys to the Deftones to the RX Bandits to the Futureheads and back again. If there's some passion put into it at any stage then i'm normally going to like it/want it/ own it already. Recently Murder By Death, Johnny Cash, Silverchair, Crazy Arm, Tom Waits and most of the top friends have been getting regular spins.
MoviesI love the films where you come out looking at the world slightly differently, even for just a little while - Amelie, Lost In Translation, TT (pi), Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Stranger Than Fiction. Also Grosse Point Blank, Brick, V for Vendetta, Die Hards 1-4, Saved, Most Comic book films, Man Bites Dog, Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Lady Vengeance, Harvey, Mr Deeds (the original), Under Seige, Serenity, the Goonies, Mean Girls, The Breakfast Club, Master and Commander, Panic Room, The American President. I like happy endings.
TelevisionI watch too much. Highlights at the moment: Outnumbered, And that's actually about the only great thing i can think of...
BooksJust read the Watchmen by Alan Moore and that was really good. The Book of Lost Tales was before that and that was good too. Coupland, Crichton, Adams, Pratchett, Whatever my girlfriend hands me and tells me i should read. I get round to it in the end.
HeroesI think heroes are something you have as a kid, but turn into people you admire as you get older.I always wanted to be a man called Chris Gordon when i was a kid, even down to imitating clothes, hair and singing voice. I've not quite grown out of it yet. Anyone who's good with words. Aaron Sorkin, Richey Edwards, Frank Turner, Vinnie from Less Than Jake, Tomas Kalnoky, Joss Whedon and anyone else who manages to capture how you feel on paper. Anyone with the strength of conviction.

Yes it is like that, mwahahahaha. How are you sugar, good practise? Was good catching up with the other musketeers last night. I will go and pester agents at lunchtime. Had a look at the ones you sent me, am not very keen on the 70s kitchen. The one in St James Road looks ok and the Hever Court area one, feel free to make phone calls and arrange some viewings, hint hint! Have you sent a Father's Day card? I know, I'm a hard task master. Stu wants to know if we fancy any drinks or live entertainment this evening, let me know, am off to Dartford about 2.

You should be looking for houses, I have been! Anyway, thought of some things to finish your list as it looks a bit sad as it is.
7. You want to have a pet polar bear.
8. You constantly play the imaginary drums.
9. You're a cheese addict.
10. You have hobbit feet!

Have a good day sugar, Jo came in earlier with baby Cate, so cute and well-behaved. Also Toni got engaged last night, think there's something in the water here.

Just about managed to add two and two together! You're in Southampton on the 17th so you won't be able to go to that Islington thing anyway, Stu might ask Margie and Tom aswell! Also just remembered you're out and about so might not get this anyway. I think I am slightly delirious as was woken at about half 3 by a major coughing attack and it took me ages to get back to sleep!

Your new tag line is so cheery for a Monday morning. I read a bit more Mark Thomas last night which I think depressed me and gave me weird dreams. Maybe we should only read these kind of books on holiday. I'll have to borrow the Pilger one of off you as my knowledge in that area is severly lacking, as it is in most! I think my brain is failing. Have a good day too hun. Am finishing work about 7, yey, so give me a bell some time after that and I/we will either be lazy or go and punish ourselves at the quiz. Loved your blog hunny, I would rant on myspace but I think it would come out as unintelligable abuse. I do have one point to make, are you actually going to write to your MP and have you ever done so in the past? Mmmmmmmm

Hey Sugar pie,
Two things ...
Jo called me today, she had her baby, Cate Isobel, on Monday morning. 7 pounds 8 ounces. It only took just over three hours in the end. She seems to be doing ok, but having some issues that I probably won't speak to you about because you're a boy and will not understand.

Also, sort out your sister's present and email people, lazy boy.

I have finished training and am basically wasting time until I have to go to Dartford, roll on Friday.
Love me

Thanks man. Very much appreciated. Yesterday was a bit of a big head day cos you posted that comment and Dan sent me a nice text and Ant posted on our band myspace. I've atoned by saying stupid things all day and spilling pound coins all over budgens.
