The name SIAFU is the name of an African ant colony symbolizing
Togetherness and Brotherhood. Each colony contains over 20 million
individuals. There is a solider class among the workers. When food supply
becomes short, they leave the Hilltop (Howard U!) and form marching columns
of up to 50,000,000 strong. The characteristic long columns of ants will fiercely
defend against anything that encounters them. Their presence is beneficial
to certain human communities acting as pest prevention, including rats!
(We have to stick together!)
