About me: Sibil, The brainchild of six friends, simply started as a conversation/comparison between Manila and LA's party scene. All friends were in agreement that Manila easily rivals the best La has to offer. Being experienced in both Marketing/Promotions for the nightclub and entertainment industry it was inevitable that these individuals would eventually offer Manila themed Party’s to their so cal clients.
Sibil had its first official event entitled Take it Off at club aura, which was warmly received and had a decent turn out. But it was not until July 3rd at bordners that sibil had its coming out party with the first installment of the now infamous “Ledge series” , followed by south boarder after party at V20 and Bora Bora on aug 3rd. It was obvious that just like the Sibil crew, Filipinos in LA also thought well of Manila’s nightlife.
Though Manila Themed and Filipino based, Sibil serves all and sundry, we would like to invite everyone to party just like we did back home. Feel free to send us suggestions too, as we say in sibil its not our party its your party! So contact us, send us your emails or simply check our website so we can keep you posted for future events. Hello Everybody. There will be a casting call for a fashion show by acclaimed Philippine designer Ariel Agasang. The fashion show is part of the program that will celebrate the 2nd Year Anniversary of Mygringos. com to be held on 9:30 PM May 3rd at Pig N’ Whistle in Hollywood , CA .
Melissa Reyes from the “Search for the Next Pussycat Doll” will be the main performer. Guest performers include Mon David, Long Espina, Bambi Lopez and Maricar Cabrera.
Hosts for the event are Antoinette Taus, Red Oyster and Sheila Ferrari.
You are certainly more than welcome to invite anybody who is interested in joining the fashion show.
