I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. I come from a family of musicians and artists going back to my grandparents. I first began playing guitar when I was fourteen on a Harmony from Fingerhut. Ha-ha... I played off and on for the next eight years working on techniques, and writing songs. When I was twenty-two I got the chance to put my ideas to work and develop my vocals when I joined my first band, Live Bait. After a couple of years we changed the name to Sickamore. It has taken a lot of work and sacrifice from all who have joined this band and I am proud to be a part of it.

Music has always been a part of my life… it’s my fuel and it runs through my veins-- I am fiercely passionate & loyal about how I craft my style and deliver the experience at a maximum impact any way I can. I am a hardcore slave to the Rock and Roll bug, but can still groove on just about anything. Edward Van Halen inspired me to pick up the guitar in the 6th grade & I have yet to put it down. When you know me, you'll see that I put out fires as much as I start them and I'm always the catalyst for a good time and a bad hangover."
I began playing music on the piano when I was 10 years old. I took lessons for three years. By then my ADHD ass just couldn't take being forced to sit still and practice everyday. I started playing the bass guitar in High School when I was offered a spot in a Metallica cover band, all I had to do was get a bass and amp. I spent several years playing in original and cover bands before joining Sickamore. My major influences are Cliff Burton, Steve Harris and Geddy Lee.
Growing up in the streets of New York, you had to learn to take care of
yourself... and I did. I did everything and anything. I love all kinds of music. Salsa, it's in my blood. When I was growing up my parents threw a lot of parties and I learned to party hard and fast. Like I said salsa is my first love, but rock 'n roll is my soul. It made me the person I am today, strong, loud, and ready to kick ass. That’s what I'm all about.

Sickamore is a hard hitting, in your face band from Seattle, Washington. Their first full length album "WHAT MAKES THE MONEY" was released in July 2008.
