Probably Nil. At some point or another every one of our neighbors have had a rager or two since we've lived here. We have not. Since it would be you and a drummer that would be ideal for the space. You could even use my Marshall if you played.
So dude, if hypothetically we said "hey, you guys wanna come play at our party?", what would be the chances that you would be able to play at a moments notice? And for free?
yah, that would be really fun. Seattle is awesome! We were actually considering going there the beginning of November...we wanted to go to Canada (we've never been), but Ashley procrastinated and did not get her passport. Sad. lol
It's kind of a long and ridiculous story that is less long, and more ridiculous. Well, here goes...I AM left handed. I got my first guitar when I was 13, which was a right handed guitar; so since I was 13, and an idiot, and had no guidance, I figured "why not just learn how to play right handed? It's a right handed guitar, and it's already strung right handed? What's the difference?" Well, I didn't really start playing (at least a little more) seriously until I was 16 and as the years went on, I started to notice that there were certain parts of my playing that I just could never seem to fine tune. Here's where the long story starts to shorten...a few years back when I was still living down in the Bay Area, I took my old guitar and strung it lefty just for shits and giggles, and low and behold....it was just like flicking a switch. I found myself by the end of that day being able to play better than I did in a couple years playing right handed. I was very depressed about how much time I wasted playing right handed that I basically quit for years until really just a couple of months ago. It's slow going; tough to find the time with the kids, and work and stuff, but I'm sure it will in the long run be worth my while. So I guess, a good proper long story short? I'm an idiot./
Not really, no. There was an attempt that didn't really seem to work out. Still living the dream(in my head), but finding it difficult with the kids. I have been trying alot more lately to at least find the time to practice a bit; I don't know if I ever told you about my left-handed dilema, but I'm now playing lefty full time. Realizing that it might take some time to get to where I need to be to play guitar in a band, I'm seriously considering now switching to bass. We'll see.
Bummer dude...I wish I knew in advance...I probably would've tried to go just to get out of this house but I would need someone to watch the kids.
By the way, Covert Among Us; I don't know if you've ever listened to any later era Black Flag but in the beginning it really reminded me of that...and then it reminded me a lot of CKY...I know you, like all other musicians hate to hear their music sounds like anything, but, hey...that's what I do...find sound within other sound.
