A hard working Hard Rock band from South Central Pa., SickleEye was formed from life-long friends Joe Hudson and Jeremy Garretson along with drummer Jason Brookens, from an earlier project the two of them endeavored in. They topped it off with the raw vocals of Sam, Joe’s brother, to create their unique Hard Rock sound. It’s easy to pick out the strong southern rock and 80’s hard rock flavor in SickleEye’s original music, not to mention the sprinkle of the late 90’s grunge style in the vocals. SickleEye made a number of air time debuts on local radio stations, such as 105.7 the X, as well as being in the regular rotation of the nationally syndicated web radio show Pennsylvania Rock Show.
Late in 2008 Joe decided it was time to "hang up the axe" so to speak, and stop touring with the band; Jeremy made the decision shortly there after. So a quest then began. After countless interviews, auditions (some painful yes), and several adds in every media outlet known to man; SickleEye found their two newest members. Chad Davis has over 20 years of experience with the guitar and just recently left a long term commitment with the band Juniper Tree. His sweet blues/jazz licks coupled by the melodic undertones of some serious hard rock/metal makes him a perfect fit for SickleEye. Fabian Marroquin comes in as a heavy hitter as well, with 20+ years of expertise under his belt and recently the bassist for Wet Stone. His "magic fingers" smoke across the strings of his bass! So what's next? SickleEye will continue to deliver the same quality hard rock music their fans are accustomed to. They will be taking to the road on a full time tour, and a new album is on the horizon. The new chapter of SickleEye has begun, look for SickleEye in a city near you. Rock On!
