SICKROOM nace a finales del 2004, cuando Alex, Rigo y Forés se reunían de vez en cuando para tocar versiones de sus grupos favoritos (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, etc. Posteriormente, Castelló, amigo de la infancia de Alex, se incorpora a la formación juntamente con Vila, amigo de Castelló i compañero de clase de Alex. Una vez completado el grupo, empiezan a ampliar su repertorio con versiones de estilo punk, hardcore y metal y a realizar sus primeros conciertos por las Tierras del Ebro. Poco a poco el grupo va evolucionando y decantándose hacia un estilo mucho más duro y contundente con influencias de grupos de metal como Unearth, All that Remains, Darkest Hour, As I lay dying, Black Dahlia Murder, Machine Head, etc. En agosto de 2008 el grupo lanzó su primera demo, titulada "Screaming at Life", grabada en los estudios Alamostudio (Barcelona), obteniendo excelentes críticas. Actualmente, SICKROOM se encuentra componiendo su primer álbum que será lanzado a través de Noisehead Records en enero/febrero de 2010 y realizando conciertos por España, mostrando un poderoso y brutal directo.

SICKROOM was borned in late 2004, when Alex, Rigo and Forés met occasionally to play covers of their favourite metal bands (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, etc.). A few months later, Castelló, childhood friend of Alex, and Vila, a Castelló classmate, joined them. Once the group was already formed, they began to include in their repertoire covers of punk, hardcore and metal style and make their first shows in the zone of Tarragona (Spain). After that, the group became so much brutal, taking influences from metal groups like Unearth, All that Remains, Darkest Hour, As I Lay Dying, Black Dahlia Murder, Machine Head, etc. In August 2008, the group released his first demo, entitled "Screaming at life," which was recorded in Alamostudio (Barcelona) and obtained excellent reviews. Currently, SICKROOM is composing its first album that will be released through Noisehead Records in january/february 2010 and playing gigs around Spain, showing a brutal and powerful direct. Prepare for the crazyness and brutality coming from the SICKROOM!!!
