The SickString Outlaws are an outlaw country band. They don't play that new country crap...they play outlaw country with a heavy southern rock influence. The Sickstring Outlaws are Ron Houston (lead singer/guitar) the Rajun Cajun who hails from Monroe Louisiana and swears that he is the ghost of David Allan Coe. Rizzy Rizborne (guitar) who is also Ron's brother n law. Jeff Simpson (upright bass) the young man in the band and the newest addition...the human rhythm machine Hillbilly E (drums). Together...these guys have opened for local acts such as Cash'd Out, Married by Elvis, Full Boar and many more. A Sickstring Outlaws show is pure 100% adrenaline...fueled by the passion this band has to keep outlaw country alive.
On November 8th, 2007 the Sickstring Outlaws opened at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood for the legend himself...David Allan Coe. David Allan Coe told the Sickstring Outlaws and I quote..."YOU GUYS PLAYED A HELL OF A SET !"
