The music of Sick with Silence demands you to listen. Storming guitars and pounding rhythms are complemented with spellbinding electronics; gelled together by lyrics of love, madness, fury and sickness. The vocals will take you from the verge of tears to screams of fury from one moment to the next.
The SWS concept started just over one year ago; with a flurry of intensive writing and studio time giving rise to an Album (The Forthcoming Ctrl. Alt. Delete) and EP’s (The Modern Art of Making Enemies) worth of songs, ranging from the insidious electro groove of Concise, through to the hard-hitting metal-industrial of Fist and floor-filling Breakbeat rock of Adore You. Anyone who has ever rated the Prodigy, Cubanate, Nine Inch Nails or KMFDM will find plenty in this music - and more - to whet their appetite.
And yet this is only the start of the story, the summer has seen new members entering the picture; with Paul Convery (drums), Peter Donnelly (Guitar) and Matt Gillespie (Programming) joining Tom, the summer has seen the sound growing stronger, organically and more powerfully than the early recordings show. Song writing continues, but a long hard summer of rehearsal has brought Sick with Silence to the point of taking the music where it needs to be heard, on the live stage.
