SicomorO is a Tree supporting this venture and anchored to fertile ground by two roots: Paco and Naharro. Embraced by Xavi Perez, the group's reputable Producer, whose passion and consistent work has created a sound that draws nourishment from the rich and diverse waters of musical genders such as mediterranean, flamenco, electronic-global and "avant-gard" music. After over ten years of being part of different projects, Paco and Naharro, the two musicians forming SicomorO's roots have adopted a sound without borders aided by samplers and musical images projected on screens at the back of the stage, inviting the musicians and the audience to engage in a "fusion of fusions" encouraging the blend of inter-continental sounds and the mix of flamenco tangos with string instruments. The 21th century offers an unprecedented common "chill philosophy" and it is part of SicomorO. "CUENTAME" is the name of SicomorO's first album and bets it all on this musical philosophy provinding sincerity in their compositions, lyrics and the search of a new musical sound. Through the seven songs offered in two cd's the group partakes into a musical evolution. Once the 7 songs were ready, SicomorO continued working on them by adding elements like rithms and drums from Magreb and latin-american instruments and language like "Quechua" from Peru, for example. As a result, SicomorO creates this "fusion of fusions" combining the Music, Video-Art and Contemporary-Ethnic Dance interacting through this dialogue of elements with the audience. "CUENTAME" also counts on the participation of Antonio Orozco and Vicente Castro "Parrita", whom with their own compositions, add their efforts to this project making it as risky as well as interesting. In riding this uneven but always compelling musical wave, we certainly know that the members of this creative vessel, SicomorO, will reach the shores of unprecedented musical creativity by presenting an honest and true autobiographical work .................................................................................................................................................................................................... Este Arbol, SicomorO, se conforma por Paco y Naharro, dos músicos quienes representan las raíces que se sujetan a una tierrra donde alimentarse. Esa tierra fértil es Xavi Pérez, reputado Productor, quien con su sensibilidad y trabajo constantes ha conseguido crear un sonido que bebe de la música mediterránea, flamenca, electrónica-global y vanguardista. Después de más de 10 años girando en distintos proyectos musicales, Hoy,los integrantes de SicomorO apuestan con fervor y convencimiento por un sonido sin fronteras, teniendo a la imagen-video y samplers como cómplices y aliados, invitando en sus presentaciones a un diálogo con el público creando una "fusión de fusiones" al mezclar los tres elementos que son: la Música, el Video-Arte y la Danza Plurirracial. El siglo XXI invita a la fusión de fusiones, a no tener miedo de casar sonidos intercontinentales o juntar tangos flamencos con instrumentos de cuerda, con una filosofía "chill" común. Esta filosofía forma parte de SicomorO. "CUENTAME" es el título de la primer propuesta musical de SicomorO. Se ofrecen 2 cd's con 7 temas a través de los cuales SicomorO demuestra que una vez elaboradas las 7 canciones, se sigue trabajando en su evolución sonora, al agregar ritmos y percusiones del Magreb así como instrumentos y lenguas latino americanos como el quechua -de Perú- por ejemplo. El álbum "CUENTAME" cuenta también con la participación de Antonio Orozco y Vicente Castro "Parrita", quienes a través de sus composiciones, agregan su esfuerzo a este proyecto haciéndolo, a la vez, tanto riesgoso como interesante. SicomorO se aventura en esta marea revuelta, en la que se ha convertido la música, con la seguridad que da el presentar un trabajo honesto y autobiográfico, por parte de todos los integrantes de este barco y esto los hace comprometidos con su trabajo.
