Verve Pipe, Death Cab, Steely Dan, and more and more. I like classical when I work; so I don't listen to it much.
I a closet hip hop fan if the lyrics are triple digit IQ. (Sorry "Fitty") Classic Rock, Alternative, all kinds...If it moves me, I like it. I prefer triple digit IQ lyrics...minimum. *****

People who communicate honestly with you when they have a problem.

I grew somewhere near Dayton, Ohio. I have a knack of looking at something, trying it and picking it up....except for Guitar Hero. At 15, I entered a Jr. golf tournament…having never touched a club or set foot on a course and won second place! I had the choice of being on the golf team and playing golf after school or joining the football team and suffering cerebral head trauma.
I was admitted into Ohio University; passing their tough rigorous admission standards of a transcript, a checkbook and a pulse.
I am very, very shy so sales was a natural for me. Not!
I hated my job selling ads. I hated my job selling Insurance. I hated my job selling Yellow Pages ads.
I hat selling anything that I have no control over the product.
I took employment at Piedmont Airlines/USairways and I loved it. For 2 years, I worked 8 hour shifts and then went to 8 hours of airline tech school to become an airline mechanic. I transferred from Dayton, Pit, Greensboro, Winston and finally Charlotte.
Talking to an airline employee about the stations he or she has worked is much like talking to a professional criminal about their prison stints.
I was in Dayton for four years. I did a two year stretch in Pittsburgh. I did a Lincoln in Greensboro. Finally I did a nine year term in CLT where I stayed.
I made many friends there and was inspired to pen a story about the drama among the workers in the terminal. I joined Toastmasters and wrote a screenplay for HBO’s Project Greenlight. A college friend who is not a Hollywood producer persuaded me to publish a book; Space Available.
I tried stand up comedy. Comedy is a lot like golf. The guys who make it the swing look easy have worked hard for years to seem…"natural".
I meet a lot of great comedy mentors along the way; as well as some other friends who inspire me.
I've met a lot of great
people...Some have been famous. Not all of the people I'd like to meet have to
be famous. I've met some of my MySpace friends out in the real world. Some have come to see me at the comedy clubs. They were all fantastic people! I know there
are new friends I'd love to meet.
