sid is a north carolina native who was born in uva and went to college at amherst, ma. he draws largely upon the songwriting of bob dylan, the soul of ray charles, bob marley's voice, and indian classical music just to name a few of his influences. he also seeks to integrate some of his philosophical and social interests into his music and songwriting as he's a philosopher and maybe a poet (by generous standards :)) together this leads to a unique sound that strikes the listener who just gives a chance to this young, curious indian fellow. he explores themes of longing and friendship and being and love and duty just to name a few and the train keeps rolling. so if you're interested in hearing great music that's also unique, you may have just hit the spot. so kick back and listen to a few tunes and you may even like it so much that you feel like purchasing some of the tunes for a small price by clicking the link below. cheers, rock on!
