GeneralI really like Art. A lot. I also like the Autumn season, cadbury mini-eggs and I have an obsession with driking milk. I also have near-fanboy rages if anyone insults the following favorites of mine: photography, Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Green Lantern, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Street Fighter, Halo, and lots of pop-culture trash that I grew up with. I worship the ground that photographer/mixed media artist Dave McKean walks on, and you all very probably should too. Here is a big list of other stuff: abstraction, adobe photoshop, akira, alex proyas, allen speigel fine arts, alternative photography, american gods, amélie, anime, art, audrey hepburn, autumn, ballyvaughn, bebop, before sunrise, before sunset, bento, beth page, brattle theatre, burren college of art, cadbury mini eggs, cages, canon 300d, canon digital rebel, capcom, cara dillon, cindy sherman, city of lost children, clara bow, collage, console games, contemporary art fair, coraline, cowboy bebop, cowboy_bebop, dark city, darkrooms, dave mckean, david lynch, diana camera, digital cameras, donkey kong, doozers, dvds, ein, electronics entertainment expo, endless, epson, epson 4000, epson 7600, eraserhead, fall, fashion photography, fay masterson, faye valentine, film, fine art, force five, force fx, force fx lightsabers, fraggle rock, fraggles, galway, gamecube, goldeneye 007, graphic design, green lantern, halo, halo 2, halo multiplayer, handmade photography, hanne piasecki, harrison ford, heavenly creatures, hunterdon museum of art, ico, indiana jones, ipod, ipod 20 gig, ireland, irina dvordvenko, jeep, jennifer connelly, jennifer kimball, jim henson, jim henson company, jonatha brooke, julia margaret cameron, kayaking, kermit, lightsaber, lightsabers, lisa ekdahl, little airplane, mamiya, mamiya cameras, mamiya rb67, mario, mario brothers, master replicas lightsabers, mcgowan fine art, medium format, medium format cameras, milford drive in, mini eggs, mixed media, mountain biking, movies, muppets, music, neil gaiman, neverwhere, nintendo, nintendo 64, orbitz soda, perfect dark, pictures that tick, pinhole photography, playstation, playstation 2, portraits, radical edward, rb67, richard linklater, sally mann, sandman, sega, sega dreamcast, sega saturn, self portraits, shadow of the colossus, signal to noise, star blazers, star wars, starblazers, starn twins, strangers in paradise, street fighter, super mario, super nintendo, the story, toad the wet sprocket, ultrachrome inks, videogames, vintage photography, wanda & the colossus, wilton town hall theatre, xbox, yoko kanno
MusicI really love Toad the Wet Sprocket, Glen Phillips, Jonatha Brooke, the Story, Delerium, Leftfield and Edie Brickell. I used to have a disgusting obsession with Tori Amos when I was younger, and although I still support her music, I don't listen to her as frequently. I also love music from anime and videogames. I have a decent collection of it. My obsession with music results in me having around 2,000 albums. Some I've never actually listened to the whole way through.
MoviesRadiers of the Lost Ark is my overall favoritest bestest OMG movie of all time. My mom took me to see it in 1981 and I've wanted to be Indiana Jones ever since. Because I'm materialistic, I become obsessed with owning all the movies I like, rather than renting them, and I'm right around 600 dvds and 100 laserdiscs right now (remember those?) Other movies that I love are: Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Muppet Movie, My Neighbor Totoro, Iron Giant, Last Unicorn, Secret of NIMH, Man Bites Dog, Rivers and Tides: Andy Goldsworthy Working with Time, Amelie, City of Lost Children, Run Lola Run, Alien, Dark City, Dark Crystal, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ghostbusters, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Predator, Star Wars Original Trilogy, Almost Famous, Citizen Kane, Goonies, Lost in Translation, Leon: The Professional, Searching for Bobby Fisher, Shallow Grave, the Straight Story, Trainspotting,
TelevisionI don't watch much television. When I was growing up, I was obsessed with Star Blazers and the Force Five show. Then came the Muppet Show and nothing since has been very good, with the exception being Firefly, the Tick animated series, and the Misadventures of Ed Grimley which didn't last very long. I like watching Inside the Actor's Studio because James Lipton is so excited by his guests he borders on some kind of retardation. I thing Cowboy Bebop is the greatest anime ever, and I watch Project Runway because watching people have cat-fights over clothes tickles my funny bone.
BooksI read comic books. I love Green Lantern and I read him every month. My girlfriend reads enough books for the State of New Hampshire, so I don't feel bad that all I read are photo magazines and comic books. Graphic Novels are comic books, but somewhere in history someone associated them with mature intelligent reading, and everyone followed along. They are still comic books.
HeroesJim Henson is the greatest human being in the Universe, and you all should just accept that. He made a frog riding a bicycle believable.

First of all, it's an epinepherine injector, and second of all it's a trauma kit, not a fanny pack! I carry it behind me so it's out of the way when I shoot.

Annnnyway how's things back in NH? Got some snow yet?

Yeah, you know, we're stuck out here in Camp Buehring in Kuwait, and we were in line at the PX, and some dumbass from some engineer unit is in line ahead of us, and for some reason he turns around and says "I'm gonna be the first one in the engineering bay to have Halo 3!" And I said "What if it sucks?" and he got all hurt and looked at his copy of the game and mumbled "well, I liked the first two..."
