Therefore, our instructors continuously undergo advanced training in self-defense skills, and each and every one keeps abreast of the latest teaching methods and human development. Each instructor is certified by the Choong-Sil Tae Kwon Do Federation. The CTF has one of the most stringent and comprehensive training programs in the world. With over two years of specialized training, the?CTF and the CMAF insures that each instructor is qualifi ed to teach martial arts.

A modern approach to self-defense...
Although our techniques are based on centuries old knowledge, it is our application of that knowledge that sets SIDEKICKS apart. Our training covers a variety of ranges. We have superior kicking techniques which allow an advantage against a larger opponent. We have several different types of hand techniques for medium range defense. Should your defensive needs require ground fi ghting, we have the answer there too. Our close range defensive techniques encompass the use of joint manipulation and locks. Combine all that with takedowns and throws and you will find that our program will be the answer to your self-defense needs.
We realize that each student possesses different natural abilities; size and strength will vary from person to person, etc. That is why once you have acquired a strong foundation and ability in the basics, our program is individualized to match your physical capabilities in order to maximize your selfdefense skills. Should the need ever arise you will possess afirm understanding of exactly what it takes to both mentally and physically defend yourself or your loved ones.
