Hayes Carl made it to our top 8
Hayes is a great songwriter and perforner. A true lyrical master like Slick Rick.
He invited us to play at his festival for two years in a row.
He took us on tour with him and John Evans on a real live tour bus, and when we were stuck in Austin with nowhere to go, he gave us a ride to a hotel and floated the bill.
All this with a wife, a kid , and a mortgage.
He's the Mother Theresa of Rock and we the lowley lepers. So we do what all lepers do to show gratitude for acts of kindness and mercy - we put him in our top 8.
