we sound like a mix of Kimborough and The Stones: Heavy dirty sexy blues and rock"n"roll.
R.L. the leader plays with all his heart and soul and the people love it,
he is a showman and wants everybody in the house to have a good time. Together with "papa Håvard Bækkevold" on his powerfull Harmonica they are like twins and set the house on fire.
We started out 2001 playin and drinking together in an old house in my hometown Tynset called Rambu its like an old house with a lot of spirit and soul. I played in a band called Ramblues with my soulbrother Håkon Høye a successfull band on the blues scene in Norway, the band broke up and i decided to form a band with my Buddies in Sidetrack. First we started playing covers it did not work out for us and started doing our own stuff. I was inspired by a tour i did with Mason Ruffner. He told me to go out there and do it! Soon we started to get a reputation as a cool tuff and dirty sounding blues band.
The songs fit the band right and the people went nuts, SideTrack is a live band, it's not perfect but its rocks and rolls like hell. We wanna thank Lillehammer Bluesweekend for keeping the fire burning, they helped us a lot. God bless ya. The bluesjam with Chicago blues stars Bob Margolin, Billy Branch and Bob Stroger was a magic moment for the band, everybody in the house had a good time, they loved it and they could not stop jamming - 5 clock in the morning the manager came and cut the power....The blues is all around. I want to thank all of our fans and sidetrackheads. You are the best We Salute You!!!

Nå som de fleste er ferdig med sommerferien, nærmer høstsesongen seg med mange SideTrack-konserter. Vi i SideTrack Fanclub gleder oss veldig til å treffe dere igjen. Vi møter forberedt alle sammen. Vi har bestilt nye T-skjorter . Denne gangen har vi bestilt noen ekstra, slik at vi kan selge dem til SideTrack-tilhengere.
Først skal Styret i Fanklubben til Kreta for å legge planer
