It started as an experiment; an investigation to see what happens when four individuals with unique and varying musical backgrounds come together in hopes of creating an innovative and moving musical experience. The experiment has been a success. Sidney Law has found its niche through the writing process; every song formed and reformed, continually evolving until an intimate moment reveals itself as the spirit of the piece. Writing with this great expectation has rewarded Sidney Law with a sound that is warm to the ears and resonant to the soul.

Hey, I just wanted to stop by and tell you that your "rough cuts" sound just phenomenal! I discovered you guys after searching for info on dearly departed Poverty...Josh, I don't blame you if you don't remember, but I was Matt Ida's friend with pink (sometimes blue or purple, lol) hair. Recently I've really been craving music that rocks and also speaks to me, thus the search for Poverty, and in turn, you guys. You're really great, and I'm sad we don't live in La Crosse anymore. So yeah...I'm done gushing. Can't wait to hear more new stuff!

Also, I was working at the Crossfire Block Party Saturday night, so I saw you guys there & it was a really great show and definetely a fun night!!
