Bio
Music is such a fucking scene nowadays. Whether you're labeled as a punker, hipster, scenester, indie kid or whatever, it's like there's rules on how to act. If you don't dress like them or like the same music then you're not an 'individual' like them. Fuck that. Remember when music was about expression? When shows were fun? That's what SiDS stands for. We are about rocking. We are about the live show. We about energy and mayhem to the stage. We are cheap jokes and toilet humor. We say fuck a lot. We dress up and rock out. We're not doing this to make it big or any shit like that, we're just in it to have a fucking blast and bring that feeling to you. Our style? Fuck...beats us. Perhaps SiDS can best be categorized as garage rock/fagatron/punk/thrash/horseshit with influences of prog-rock/indie/gospel/DIY/herpes. We have no set style and limited musical talent. Yea, we don't have a synth, a mixer, and we can't harmonize to save our souls, but does that matter? We play what we want to, play for fun, and the rest creates itself. Making their debut at "Relay for Death", a show the encouraged smoking, drinking, and other cancer causing activities, SiDS began to build a fan base throughout Wooster. With their simple and crass tunes, SiDS has collected a following of the oddballs, freaks, and discontent. SiDS has transformed from performing covers of Limp Bizkit to turning their sets into a carnival full of deranged clowns. RJD2 referred to us as "very entertaining". At a SiDS show, expect to see us in the pit, shooting silly string, sexual deviancy and maybe some music in between all that. We'll play anytime, anywhere. Even if you don't want us to. Wherever we go, we want people dancing, moving, doing anything besides sitting around being passive fucks. We want you to scream, sing, dance, love us, hate us, but for the love of God stop sitting in that fucking booth during a fucking rock show! -
