There is nothing to know about me that can't be found in my music. Life can be bitter, life can be sweet, but I love it all no matter what hand I'm dealt from day to day. My art imitates life. Sometimes it's mellow, sometimes it's nuts, and sometimes it just is. Reality is relative from person to person. I feel it is my duty as a songwriter to present my vision of reality through music. I've often wondered why I am compelled to do so; the inspiration seems to be handed down from the universe. As I've grown older, I've realized it's not really that important to know, and maybe it's not really my place to know the answer. So I stopped asking.

St Louis is revealing itself to me slowly. Which this time around I appreciate. Large house. Gardens. Chickens. Bringing the country to the city. Reimagining that old standby "You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy." Did any of us really grow up in the country? A point I'd rather not even entertain. Lots of music too. I'll let you know new recordings. Hope your sickness clears up.
Yes I do... although I do find it difficult to come up with content. Usually I just sing jibberish, listen back, try to make sense of it and refine from there. It's a hit or miss process, but the only one I've had any luck with.
