SIDVISCOUS! is a longform improv ensemble from New York City. Made up entirely of members of the various house teams at The Peoples Improv Theater (“PIT”), they have been blowing minds with their special brand of improv madness since 2007.
They are: Alex Farlow, Kevin Gottlieb, J Hobart B, Desiree Nash, Sarah Nowak, James Rich, Mandy Schmieder, and Phil Wells.
“SidViscous! has a style that’s energetic and hilarious. They rocked the house!” – Bob Carter, The Baltimore Improv Festival
“Truly inspired. SidViscous! is bad-ass.” – The Charleston City Paper
“A fearless group of improvisers, constantly striving for new and interesting ways to get
laughs.” – Kevin Scott (Centralia, Burn Manhattan)
"SidViscous! has amazing group chemistry and are always outdoing themselves. Consistently surprising and hilarious." – Rebekka Johnson (Neutrino, Possible Side Effects)
Who I'd like to meet: You, your friends, your family, your professional acquaintances, people you hate, people you could do without but have nothing against, and a giant, anthropomorphic crab.
I had the pleasure of seeing you at the PIT a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome...but skates?!?...skates?!? *wishing I lived closer than 10 hours away : ( *
