"Be careful, now...Sierra Noble's voice and melodies will enter through your ears, then head straight down and steal your heart. "
- Martin Rivas

As if opening for PAUL MCCARTNEY and BON JOVI weren't enough...she also shone brightly for billions around the world in the Opening Ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

This young singing fiddle virtuoso is beautiful, talented and already making her mark!

Her talent has taken her around the world to Asia, Europe and across North America. She amazes audiences with compelling contemporary performances which feature exceptional instrumentals, beautiful innovative vocals, and her infectious down to earth charm.

Never one to rest on her laurels, it is no surprise that Sierra wanted to expand and develop her musical talents. With a debut EP released in 2008 aptly named "Possibilites", Sierra's journey as a singer-songwriter is already off to an outstanding start. Her voice is a study in gorgeous contradictions - wonderfully pure yet layered with subtle, smoky tones similar to the likes of Norah Jones. Her songs speak of universal themes of love, longing and discovery wrapped in infectious melodies, delivered with sincerity and conviction.

The album has received rave reviews across Canada, and has already made it to space and back. Canadian astronaut, Julie Payette chose it as one of few albums that she would take with her on the STS-127 mission to the space station in July, 2009.

In her live shows, "Sierra has created an atmosphere where stunning instrumentals and hook laden pop songs exist in perfect harmony." (-Mike Norman, CCMA Musician of The Year)

This young musician is on her way to the top with the release of both her debut single "Possibility" along with the beautiful music video for the single charting in the Top 10 Countdown on CMT Canada (Country Music Television) and hitting the #1 spot on Canada's MuchMoreMusic Countdown.

THE HUMANITARIAN

Sierra dedicates much of her time to various causes, from her involvement with the global fight to ban landmines, her work with welcoming war-affected refugee families to Canada, as well as programs for inner-city youth in Winnipeg, all in an effort to make the world a better place. She has been presented with many humanitarian and volunteer awards for her substantial accomplishments including the Inaugural Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal but Sierra’s greatest satisfaction comes not from awards but from seeing the changes in people’s lives and the impact that the voices of youth can make in the world. It is no surprise that much of Sierra’s inspiration comes from the words of Gandhi., "You must be the change that you wish to see in the world."

CBC broadast of the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge at the Vimy Monument, April 9th, 2007. This video is of the playing of The Last Post followed by Sierra Noble playing The Warriors Lament.

REVIEWS

"Be careful, now...Sierra Noble's voice and melodies will enter through your ears, then head straight down and steal your heart!"
- Martin Rivas, www.martinrivas.net

"Sierra Noble has long been a 'hot property' on the Manitoba music scene - a teenage fiddle champ with a winning grin and a spitfire stage presence. But how do you take a fiddle prodigy and turn her into a career-oriented performer? In Noble's case, her handlers are following the Alison Krauss model. Sierra has learned to be a singer as well as a fiddler and she's had some great co-writers working with her, from Alannah Myles' muse Christopher Ward to our own Chris Burke-Gaffney, Keith Macpherson and Jaylene Johnson. The end results are pleasantly surprising - especially the beautiful title cut, Possibility."

"Sierra has created an atmosphere where stunning instrumentals and hook laden pop songs exist in perfect harmony..." -Mike Norman, CCMA Musician of The Year

"On her new six-track EP Possibilities, Noble sings with a heavenly sweet yet confident voice comparable to the likes of Norah Jones or Colbie Caillat. The songs are tasteful, somewhat understated pop, accented by Noble's string work, which adds even more warmth and dignity to her already polished, mature delivery…When it comes to a world class career in music for Sierra Noble, this EP confirms the possibilities are endless."
-Bruce Laperre

"A slim young woman sitting on the stage, simultaneously playing her fiddle and step-dancing, quickly stole the hearts of the capacity audience Tuesday night at Westminster United Church. She also unintentionally stole the show...a previously fidgety audience sat motionless and mesmerized by the smoky, mood-setting music as Noble cast a spell, summoning simpler times gone by."
Gwenda Nemerofsky
Winnipeg Free Press

"Noble glides her bow easily across the gut with a willowy abandon...while other players do etchings, Noble paints in watercolors."
Brian Wright-McLeod
Indian Country News

"She's a talented fiddler who focuses on the traditional Metis style, but also can handle Cajun, Celtic, country and other styles with ease. And she uses her gift to help fundraise for humanitarian causes. In other words, she's the kind of precocious, totally together kid you'd normally love to hate. Once you hear her work her magic on this debut disc of instrumental gems, though, we expect you'll change your mind."
Darryl Sterdan
Calgary Sun

"This young womans performance was spell-binding. She delighted the crowd with her energy, skill and knowledge imparted by many of the greatest fiddlers in Canada. Her message, "Continue to dream. Never give up on your dreams," was underscored throughout her performance."
