Barracuda - Sierra's Mantra live at the Red Lion Legion 2-7-09
Sierra's Mantra has been together for over 10 years. After taking a few years off, original Mantra members, Sierra Kameron, Kevin Wegman and Shua Drennan regrouped in 2008. With the addition of Kyle Wegman, Sierra's Mantra has come back tighter and better than ever. Sierra's Mantra covers a wide variety of your favorite rock bands. And not the easy songs that a lot of other bands cover. Sierra's Mantra has some of the best musicians around. Sierra can sing and rap with a four octave vocal range. This is not a band who covers "Chick songs" just because there's a "chick" fronting the band. Sierra can sing the lows of "Sober" and "Vicarious" from Tool with amazing passion right on up to the highs of "Dirty Deeds" from AC/DC, "Barracuda" from Heart and everything in between. Kevin Wegman is a master of guitar. Able to play mind blowing leads that'll make your head spin in disbelief of what you're witnessing. He is also the wizard behind the songs that require that "extra oomf" with a little midi programming. Such songs like, "Woke up this Morning", the Soprano's theme song from Alabama 3, "Bring me to Life and Call Me When You're Sober" from Evanescence, "No More Tears" from Ozzy, "Our Truth" from Lacuna Coil and so on, are "Over the top"good. Shua Drennan shares the singing duties. His passionate vocals and big range enable him to sing the lows in "Low Rider" from War, to the highs in "Mr. Brownstone" from Guns & Roses. And the harmonies are outstanding. Shua plays bass and drums with amazing precision. When he's on bass, you have Kyle Wegman on drums and vice versa. These two guys share the duties of bass and drums. It's just amazing to watch them switch instruments and play one as good as the other. Kyle is the newest and youngest of the Mantra crew, but don't let that fool you. He can hold his own to players twice his age. Sierra's Mantra covers some of your old favorites from bands like "AC/DC, Heart, Metalica, Ozzy, Pink Floyd,etc..." right on up to new "in your face" songs from bands like, "Alter Bridge, Daughtry, Sixx Am, Tool, Disturbed, Lacuna Coil, etc..." In addition to writing new material, Sierra's Mantra is constantly learning new cover material so that each show is a "Must See".

The top four songs in our music player are cover tunes. Emotionally Antiseptic and Exiled One are Sierra's Mantra originals.
"Sierra Kameron is the closest I've seen of a reincarnation of the Holy Shiva. Kameron seductively moves her body as she performs, her lusty voice matching each arm flair perfectly."...Heather Andrews, Fly Magazine"

Sierra Kameron performing with the old line up of Sierra's Mantra (Sierra Kameron, Bill DiLuigi, Kevin Wegman, Rob Trace and Steve Spatz) an original song called "45 minutes"
Sierra's Mantra fuses together pop sensibility with cutting edge aggression. With powerful lead vocals from Sierra Kameron, who has been likened to a modern day Ann Wilson, their music has been turning heads with it's big guitars, passionate vocals and electronic undertones. These components add up to a very unique sound. Their last release was produced by Steve Peck (David Bowie,Sting, Madonna,Tina Turner, etc.) and Co-Produced by Mike LeShore from New York City for Entrepreneur Entertainment. It is a three song ep which features the band as well as ProTools programming by Chris Fogg and additional guitars by Atlantic Recording Artist Brendan Feeney of "Over Mars". Mastering is by M.B. Christensen @ C.A.S. On this self titled ep, Steve really brought out the full potential of the band. This ep features The Exiled One which won a Billboard Certificate of Achievement in a past songwriting competition. It has also been featured by the Philadelphia chapter of NARAS (The Grammy's) at a songwriting expo and was featured on 105.7 The X's Under The Radar Vol 1 compilation cd as well as CMJ's Certain Damage! Vol 119.
Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!
There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.
Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."
And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my 2nd horror novel SACRIFICE was released this month - and is in stores everywhere, including Amazon.com. I hope you'll check out the book! Here are a couple reviews it's gotten:
“SACRIFICE is not for the timid or weak of heart, it is a full frontal assault on your senses. It is a dark, brutal, bloody and terribly frightening book. Everson went deep into some dark abyss to bring this book to the light of day.... I highly recommend Sacrifice.” —Famous Monsters of Filmland
“John Everson manages in SACRIFICE to dispense buckets of blood, provide edgy perversity, and walk the tenuous tightrope of horror and sex without falling: It’s rather an amazing feat.” –Hell Notes
Sierra, It was great to meet you and what an incredible set you played--love the music and the performance!! I'll definitely see about coming up with some venues in this area for you.
You guys are amazing even after playing another gig earlier in the day! Kyle… you were all over it on Saturday. Shua and Kevin kicked serious ass too! Keep up the ass kickin! Stay forever heavy…
