The music of SIFER blends original, female fronted metal, heavy/hard rock with tribal influences. The four members are: Aimee Gelinas (Lead Vocals & Tribal Percussion), Dan Cohen (Lead Guitar & Composition), Evan Bates (Drums & Samples), Chris Samson (Bass).
Sifer was voted BEST Aggressive Rock Band 2008 & BEST Metal Band 2007 by My 411 Source and completed their first full length CD recorded in Great Barrington, MA called Divinity or Demise (on sale now!). Sifer is also be featured on the My 411 Source Best of the Berkshires Compilation 2007 & 2008!
Sifer has performed at many venues throughout Western Mass and the Berkshires including Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY, Pearl Street in Northampton, The Adams Aggressive Music Fest at The Saints, The Waterfront in Springfield, Berkshire Community College, Topia Theatre in Adams, King's Tavern in Saratoga NY, Flavour's at the Econo Lodge in Lenox, The Dalton Depot, Hells Angels Club in Lee as well as various other locations throughout the Berkshires.

I left the band in a civil manner wanting to remain friends, but after hearing DAN's sad attempt of a death threat on my phone screw off! Get another drummer and good luck.
