BECOMING-SEXUAL OF THE SEXUAL
or should we go, be a little alcoholic, a little crazy, a little suicidal, a little of a guerilla –
taking a philosopher from behind
extending the crack to unforeseen dimensions
no finality
without getting afraid of being paranoid
getting hysterical
- discontinuity -
is this source attainable?
only if we could picture a model
the model of the model which is unknowable.
imagine Artaud’s neurotic language
a wall of sound and the sonics you hear give you only some clues about what lies behind this wall, given the fact that Merzbow does not imitate what he cannot hear but represents what he fails to hear
it is probably why the lyre bird with an extraordinarily beautiful tail in southern Australia has got no song of itself except the other songs of other birds which he imitates. the lyre bird imitates everything whatever he hears, even the chainsaws he hears in the forests: the whole infinity of sounds is his model but he doesn’t have one of his own. becoming-quantum of animal?
Büchner’s Lenz five minutes before he starts hearing the noise of silence, or goes mad, or attempts to kill himself. in contrast, a thorough understanding of complementarity means to look at killing oneself together with the impossibility of killing oneself and thus extending it to a life-long project.
our intention is to extend the crack and perhaps look at the volcano in the face, to look at the non-identifiable, the non-identitarian, the undecidable, or better, the un-negotiable. (continues in the blog above)

... as for my aspirations to become a soaring dog, I understand that I cannot fulfill such an identification with the “origin” for this is where even the object of identification, together with my self, disappear, revealing the absence of a model. Thus, I shall embark upon a new field of research, the science of music. Although I still have some doubts about how to hear it, and fail to identify what I hear as music, this failure endows me with a freedom from gravity towards a desire to be a self-floating being, the truth of which I don’t produce via a paranoiac desire to know: it is “a different science from that of today, an ultimate science,” as there’s nothing to simulate except a sense of a directionless, nomadic floating, much as a Bataillian way of communication.
I wonder if this ultimate science is the science of the meta-audible the inaudibility of which, based on a self-shattering “masochistic” pleasure, I celebrate as a failure to constitute myself as a full-fledged subject who can hear the things.
And isn’t this “ultimate science” a matter of “not to be dead and yet no longer alive,” as Nietzsche once put it?

"What I produced in this album can be considered as another attempt at starting from a scratch – that is, from the recorded scratches which we divided and mixed so as to force them to the impossibility of dividing more: a process that culminated in what I call "de-sonance." All because, what starting from a scratch means on a score that is presumed to be haunted with sounds is nothing but back- and fore-grounding the fact that I have already been "scratching from the start.”
SIFIR is an electronic music project of Zafer Aracagök. Daphne and Mum are the frequent contributors to SIFIR's music both with their vocals and ideas. The band thinks music is hysteria - a definite influence of what Gilles Deleuze wrote on F. Bacon. His last cd - "Ben Aptalim Cünkü Ölüyüm Ben Ölüyüm Cünkü Aptalim" /"I am Stupid Because I am Dead, I am Dead Because I am Stupid" - is about Nietzsche's collapse in Turin and its aftermath.
"Yalvaririm Beyfendi Saatiniz Kaci Gosteriyor?"/"I Beseech You Sir, Tell Me What Time It Is" is about Sevim Burak, a language-dissident Turkish female writer who produced radical texts of l'écriture féminine during her life time between 1931-1983.
Aracagök publishes books of fiction/theory, and teaches and writes on continental philosophy, basically, on the issues of sound, noise and image.

Life is a soon enough forgotten affliction/We can no more think of NOW/the immediate interval/than we can think of the past as having been and the future rendering the paradox of memory almost unbearable/The weight of death lies in its inability to be misunderstood/It makes no error/and leaves us with little hope of bearing it/Desire neither consents or refuses/it is that reserve of feeling which cannot be felt without approaching the night without sleep/Suicide is always apart from thought or truth in which the self propels itself to that place forbidden to all/foreign to will and desire/Desire to compose is a pointless obsessive search for absent meaning in the obscurity of the interim of intervals of thought/The neurotransmitter has resistance to being embedded in memory without the exact degree of trauma/Desire to compose is a search for absent meaning in the ruinous awareness of obscurity of the intervals of having just thought/Some women unveil their bodies while retaining their mystery/Regards Kwo/
Recorded: live on March 16, 2003 at the Beta Lounge in San Francisco
In 1967, San Francisco’s Fifty Foot Hose were certainly one of the
innovators of a sound that took Psychedelia to new heights and was
captured on the band’s one record, Cauldron. They are a totally
unique hybrid—on one hand pulsating bay area acid rock, on the other,
fractured electronic freakery, becoming one whole cohesive being. The
sci-fi-ish video game-like artwork hinted at the sounds within, as did
the Limelight label’s pedigree for truly progressive sounds. Band
leader, Cork Marcheschi, used homemade electronic devices to create
crude and experimental soundscapes and instrumental compositions that
were sprinkled throughout the album.
Often starting shows with a swelling rumble that exploded into the
first song, they soon developed a rabid following on the SF scene,
though there was the occasional totally wrong gig, like when a
very-pregnant Nancy had to perform at a Catholic Girls’ school! Still,
the group wowed the crowds, performing with greats like Chuck Berry and
Fairport Convention.
Dedicated to all the women, men, gays, lesbians or heteros, to all who have different politic opinions who are persecuted all over the world by laws, dictature, religions and corrupted states. From north to south, from west to east...
Dear Sifir/ I was not aware that the Politics of repression were quite so heavy duty in Turkey/ I cant imagine living and working under such subjugation/ Does this affect you personally/ I know that Academics in some countries get a hard time from the Control Apparatus/Relieved to hear that yr cat survived its fall/ My cat is a fighter/ The moment its outside it finds a cat to fight with/Its now a law that cats must be kept in side to protect the wildlife at night/ Texas wanders and paces the corridors trying to get out/When I go outside for a cigarette he paws at the door whinning and crying "please let me out to fight" The problem is he always looses and is expensive to take to the vet/ He never learns a thing and soon as he is back home he is limping around trying to get back out the door/ He is very territorial and is always "re-territorializing" his space/ He is a Nomad cat a Deleuzean Feline/ Look after yr self Sifir Regards and affection Lee Kwo/
Hi Sifir/ Congratulations on the new book being published/ It is a fascinating angle to look at Deleuze from/ You work very hard to achieve yr goals while still teaching/ I always enjoy reading yr writing/ I always learn something from yr style of thought/ You have a very sharp intellect and quite a unique way of looking at passages of text/ I still read over yr essays on noise and get much pleasure from them/ Well done Sifir/ Regards and affection Lee Kwo/
