Sight 16 Studios is an award winning, privately owned
and operated 24+ bit digital recording studio. What started out as a moonlighting hobby over fourteen years ago has now blossomed into one of New Mexico’s most sought after recording studios.
Whether it’s recording experience in live or studio applications, you’re guaranteed expertise, great ears and a level of professionalism that is incomparable at just about any other project studio. The studio is located in uptown Albuquerque and specializes in several genres of music, including Pop, Rock and Metal.
Look, everybody and their mother owns a multitrack machine that they bought on sale at the local music store (or some version of Pro-Tools). While technology has allowed us all to familiarize ourselves with the recording process inexpensively, the truth of the matter is that you only get out of a project what you put in. Frankly I'm tired of home recordings and music sounding "local". If you skimp on planning, rehearsal, educated engineers, production or post-production time, it's going to hurt you.
That's where I fit in. I can add structure to your songs and give it the
precision engineering and professional edge it deserves.
"Digital in most cases, doesn't fix mistakes, it only makes them more obvious."
Music is in my blood and soul and whether its playing, recording or producing,
I'll be working with music throughout my life. I am a seasoned bass player and have toured the region with several bands over the years.
In addition to recording, I have also produce projects in other studios
such as On Fire Productions, Dis to Dat Studio and Mountainview Studios.
I currently play bass for the ABQ based band TwoThirtySeven.
