About me:
"As Brothers, we offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God, not conforming any longer to the pattern of this world. In Christ, we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We devote ourselves to one another in brotherly love; serving, teaching, and encouraging. We honor others above ourselves, living together in harmony, in the grace that brought us together."
Sigma Beta Mu was formed in the Spring of 1994 by a group of 12 men living in Agee Residence Hall at Oklahoma Baptist University, and has had dozens of members from all fields of study in its nearly 14-year history! The Social Club was formed on the premises set forth by our Purpose stated above, as well as a commitment to accountability and comradery.
In the 2007-2008 Academic year, the current membership intend to continue to preserve the traditions of Sigma Beta Mu while reaching out to new members to become a prominent organization on Oklahoma Baptist University campus in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
